Common questions
How long does a website take?
It depends mostly on the package and how quickly content comes together. Smaller sites move faster; stores and custom designs take longer. We'll give you a realistic timeline in your proposal.
Why is hosting required for 12 months?
Our build prices are kept low because the site stays on our hosting, where we maintain and back it up. A 12-month hosting plan is required with every build package and is billed monthly on top of the one-time build price: Get Online ($55/mo, monthly backups) for the Basic, Starter + CMS and Business Pro packages, or Get Found ($129/mo, daily backups) for the Online Store, Full Store and Custom Premium packages.
Can I update the site myself?
Yes, on packages that include an admin panel/CMS. On the Basic package, just send us the change.
Do you write the text?
We can help. Many clients send rough notes and we turn them into clear, readable page copy.
Do I own my website?
Yes. Once the build is paid for, the content and design are yours.
